Regional Co-ordinator - Cumbria and Northumbria Sue GabiSue has been a member of NASWE for 2 years after joining upon starting in Cumbria EWS.
Sue holds an NNEB qualification and also a Diploma in Higher Education Person Centred Counselling.
Her professional life has seen her working in Health, Social Services and Education. In Health she worked in nursing support with new mums and their babies. She also worked in a residential nursery for Social Services and was instrumental in setting up a day nursery for Cumbria County Council.
With Education Sue worked in a Special School as a Teaching Assistant then moved to the Education Welfare Service after gaining her Diploma.
On a voluntary basis Sue was a Samaritan Team Leader for 5 years and now is a counsellor for CRUSE, which has seen her going into her 6th year of counselling.
