NASWE Children's Workforce Development Council Skills and Training web based survey

CWDC’s online survey to gather the views and feelings of the children's workforce on training and development in order to inform our Sector Skills Agreement (SSA) is now closed.

SSAs are designed to improve the delivery of services through developing the skills of the workforce.

They map out exactly what current and future skills are needed by employers and how these skills and qualifications will be developed. SSAs will put employers, workers and people who use services at the forefront of development, giving them real influence over the future provision of workforce skills.

The CWDC's SSA, 'the big deal', is key to the future development of the children and young people's workforce, specifically for those working in children and young people's social care, early years childcare and the advisory and education support services.

This is an important piece of work, which NASWE has been engaged with on behalf of it’s members. You can find out more and look out for the survey results and next steps by visiting www.cwdcouncil.org.uk/projects/sectorskillsagreement.htm.
