These pages have been created to allow Education Welfare Practitioners quick and easy access to information on training and development issues specific to their job and to keep you up to date with new developments. The initial funding to develop and populate these pages was provided by CWDC (Children's Workforce Development Council) as part of their Occupational Grouping Funding stream.
It is important that these pages remain up to date and informative and you can support this in a number of ways.
CWDC and the Open University have developed a draft framework for a foundation degree for Integrated Youth Support and would like to seek your feedback on the proposed framework.
The foundation degree framework document is still a ‘working document’ so your input will influence its final shape and content. Our hope is that the framework will be in use and helping to shape programmes from January 2011.
We would like you to look through the Foundation Degree document and think about the question areas in the attached Word Document. We would be grateful if you could provide a short paragraph in response to each, and where appropriate state how strongly you agree/disagree to each statement. In order to meet our timescales it is important that your feedback be returned to Claire Brisland c.l.brisland@open.ac.uk by 12 November 2010.
Supplementary questions are given under each of the question areas. We suggest using these to structure your answers.
N.B. If you are not 100% comfortable with emailing in your response you can print off the Word Document and post your reply to: -
