Training - Higher Education Awards Specific to the EWS

Diplomas

There are currently just 2 higher education awards available that are specific to the EWS. A Higher Education Diploma in Professional studies from Nottingham Trent University, a higher education certificate in Learning, Development & Support Services (LDSS) from Lancaster University. These awards have been developed in partnership with local authorities and HE Providers and are local/regional initiatives. Although the awards are accredited by the universities, they are not nationally recognised, although some local authorities recognise the award holders as "qualified".
