The sector-endorsed Foundation Degree in Working with Young People and Young People's Services will equip students with the knowledge and skills to be competent, effective and efficient practitioners to work with young people and young people's services. These services are concerned with the engagement, assessment, development, support and guidance of young people. This foundation degree is for workers and managers developing careers in the voluntary and statutory sectors, for example, as Connexions personal advisers, learning mentors, education welfare officers, youth and community workers and careers guidance practitioners. It will also provide the basis for subsequent specialisation in other areas such as youth justice and social work.

The course is 2 years Part-time. Attendance is Tuesday from 1.00pm - 6.00pm.
