Foundation Degree Working with Young People and Young Peoples Services

This programme has been designed to provide higher knowledge and technical skills needed to work with young people. Students will be expected to apply the principles of evidence based practice for a range of assignments from their own working environment and from two short work placements. Students applying for this course will need to be working in an appropriate setting for a minimum of two days per week and will require a mentor in that setting.

Entry Requirements

Applicants will normally hold one of the following:-

Access to Higher Education Certificate or Scottish Highers. Mature Students over the age of 21, with no formal qualifications but with experience in the sector may apply.
